Broadband Glan Thompson Polarizer is made of two α-BBO prisms cemented together. Unlike other types of α-BBO polarizer and Calcite Polarizer which are used from about 190 nm to 900 nm and 350 nm to 2300 nm respectively, this broadband polarizer has a wide rang of wavelength from 200nm to 3300nm. Also the broadband polarizer has a wide acceptance angle whose field angle Fo and Fe is shown in below figure.
